  the site offers free, voluntary registration to users. By registering, users can enter journey plans, post new journey plans and reply to existing journey plans; they can take advantage of personalization (the ability to filter matches according to a user-supplied criteria); and they have the ability to edit existing journey plans. During registration the user is required to supply information including their name, age, gender, an email address and telephone number. Users may also be asked optional questions.
• Usage Tracking
  The site tracks user traffic patterns throughout its Network. This information may be used to help personalize the site facility or target advertising. The company also breaks down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
• Cookies
  A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. We also provide the option for the user to allow other users to respond to postings directly via their email. The company may also send the user email notifications of specific changes to our facility or about specific products we believe to be relevant to their needs. The company never shares individual email addresses, telephone numbers or postcodes with any third parties, including advertisers or partners, without prior consent from our users.
• The company creates aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for clients and partners. This allows our clients to advertise more effectively, and allows our users to receive information that is important to their needs.

Sharing of the Information

• The company uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and to help our clients better understand our audience's demographics.
